At first I used saluted NaCl solution as the conductive solution. But under the action of electrolysis, gas is produced (possibly chlorine and hydrogen).

So I use tap water as a substitute, which worked very well. It revealed that the water in my home should be hard water, which should be boiled before drink, for the sake of health.
